Modern Insights in Literature, Arts & Linguistics (MILAL) is dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors submitting to MILAL are expected to uphold academic honesty and research integrity by:

  • Submitting only original and unpublished work, ensuring that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Properly citing all sources and references, acknowledging the work of others.
  • Avoiding all forms of plagiarism, duplication, data fabrication, or falsification.
  • Providing accurate descriptions of data, methodology, and findings to support reproducibility.
  • Disclosing all funding sources, financial support, and potential conflicts of interest.
  • Ensuring that all listed authors have significantly contributed to the work and approved the final version of the manuscript.

Editors’ Responsibilities

Editors of MILAL are entrusted with ensuring a fair and rigorous review process. They are responsible for:

  • Guaranteeing that all submissions undergo impartial review, based only on academic merit, without discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or institutional affiliation.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and the identity of authors and reviewers.
  • Making publication decisions only after considering reviewers’ feedback, the relevance of the manuscript, and its contribution to the field.
  • Taking prompt action in cases of ethical misconduct (plagiarism, citation manipulation, research fraud), including retraction or correction of published articles when necessary.
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest by recusing themselves from editorial decisions when appropriate.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Peer reviewers play a critical role in ensuring the academic quality of MILAL. Reviewers are expected to:
